Moby Dick Special Edition
First Issue
"How a painting grows..."
This wall is located in the area for small children, and I can paint there only when Moby Dick is closed once a week for cleaning. Therefore these photos reflect the work of more than 2 months.
Issue No. 2
Slowly, the area with all these corners develops to a pirates' hide-away... The brick walls are growing...
Issue No. 3:
... are now more looking like brickwork ...
During summer vacation, the painting was on hold. Once, I tried to paint rather early in the morning, as there were no children around, concentrated on my colours - and then suddenly a little hand süalshed into the wet green colour ... a curious two-year-old wanted to "help"...
What is still looking like a white spot on the fotos above, shows now contours on the fotos below ...
And this shows one half of the wall (approx. 5 x 3 m):
Issue No. 4:
The bay is painted:
Bay and its first inhabitants ...
The water will come in the next step
Issue 5:
After a long break I continued !
I started to paint the water on a
stromy and rainy Monday morning! And that's how the water looks like...
(reminds me of Snoopy writing his story: "It was a dark and stormy night...")
Now there are only some nice little clouds missing and a plane with the "Moby Dick" advertising :-))
